CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

Use the information, keep control of the decision.

These plain-language terms describe the educational role of Financial Foundations, your ability to use official state programs directly, and the limits that apply to any optional assistance discussed through this site.

01

Education first, not a state program

Financial Foundations is not a government agency, state unclaimed-property program, bank, law firm, or financial advisor. Site content is general educational information. It is not legal, tax, financial, or government advice, and it does not replace a state program’s instructions or decision.

02

Use official state resources directly

You may search and pursue a claim through the relevant official state program yourself. Financial Foundations does not control state records, verification requirements, claim reviews, eligibility decisions, payment timing, or recovery amounts. A search result, contact, or request for help never guarantees a recovery.

03

Optional assistance and fees

If optional administrative assistance is available, it is voluntary and may be subject to applicable law, eligibility, and a separate written agreement. The $99 flat administrative option may be paid only after intake and acceptance of the displayed terms. A 10% contingent option is only a request to discuss service until the team confirms any permitted fee, eligible amount, and written agreement.

A separate written agreement, when presented and accepted, controls the specific service scope, fee, and related terms. You may choose not to proceed with any optional assistance and use the official state process instead.

04

External links and independent services

This site links to official state programs and may reference independent resources. Financial Foundations does not control those websites, their content, availability, privacy practices, or decisions. Open external links carefully and confirm the official destination before sharing information or taking action.

05

Responsible use and updates

Use this site lawfully and do not submit false information, sensitive documents through public forms, or information belonging to another person without authority. Financial Foundations may revise site content, links, or these terms as the program evolves. The posted effective date identifies the current version.
