CONTACT AND SUPPORT

Start with the question, not your sensitive documents.

Use Financial Foundations for education-first search guidance and non-sensitive next-step questions. A public request starts a conversation; it is not a state claim submission and it does not replace the relevant state program.

What the team can help you understand

Financial Foundations can help you find the official state starting point, organize a broader search plan, understand the difference between the official process and optional assistance, and review practical privacy or scam-prevention habits.

02

What requires the official state program

For a filed claim, identity verification, document request, ownership decision, claim status, payment timing, or payment question, use the official state program directly. The state program remains the authority for its records and claims.

03

How to send a request

Use the Get Started request form for a non-sensitive question or to request a conversation about your search path. The form asks only for contact and high-level search details needed to respond. It should not be used to send confidential documents or payment information.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank credentials, account numbers, copies of identification, payment card details, or other sensitive documents through the public request form.

04

Optional assistance questions

You may use the official state process on your own. If you ask about optional administrative assistance, availability, permitted fees, and the service scope must be confirmed before you decide. A request for a conversation does not create a service agreement or guarantee a recovery.

Financial Foundations

Keep the official state program in view.
